Now Auntie Sue is coming to Thursday night dinners with the family, Mum has decided that we won't organise birthday lunches on the weekend anymore. Instead we will just have birthday dinners. So the Thursday after we got back from Hervey Bay we had a chinese dinner for Poppy's birthday and of course we enjoyed cake too. I found it a little bit hard because Grandma would normally have been there, she loved chinese meals and we also always celebrated Dad's birthday and hers at the same time. But it was still nice to be all together.
Of course after dinner there was cake and the kids helped sing to Poppy and then blow out the candles. I love the animation from the kids.
