Go Swans!

On Saturday afternoon James, Daniel and I headed into the Swans vs GWS final with Dad at the SCG. Mum kindly stayed home with Eliza and Alexander (and Oscar) so we could go. Daniel was keen to go to another Swans game after missing the last one due to gastro. We headed in with plenty of time to hit traffic, find parking and walk to the game and it paid off. We got there with an hour to spare so headed down to the Driver Ave activities. They were great. Daniel was keen to get his face painted and also wanted to have 26 - Luke Parker's number.

Luke Parker fan!
He looked to see how tall he was compared to Buddy. He has a bit of growth to go.
He also wrote a message for Luke Parker and sent it.

We all then had a go at spinning the wheel. From the 4 of us, Daniel was the only one to win something - he chose a ball initially, but we told him that we had enough and to choose something else. He chose a pencil case instead.

We then headed in to watch the game. Our seats weren't too bad. The rain held off for most of the game, with just a little bit of a drizzle during the 2nd quarter. Daniel sat on my lap for most of the game so he could see. It wasn't a very eventful game with the Swans not scoring many goals. But he was excited when we did score. It was still a nice night.

Daniel got his own Gary Rohan badge like me
Sad Daddy at the end of the game
Looking forward to next year to cheer on the Red and the White.
