Fathers' Day

Another Fathers' Day has been an gone. On Friday 31st August, James and Daniel went out to breakfast at Monday Morning cafe. They were going to go to the school Fathers' Day breakfast but forgot to get tickets and when I asked, they were already sold out. This kinda worked out better because James then was able to have a nice coffee and a nice hot breakfast out with Daniel at a cafe. And they sure did enjoy their drinks and food!

Daniel had made James a card which he gave to him saying Happy Fathers' Day breakfast. I loved his picture of the family and trampoline and sun where he wrote the first letter of each person and thing. I especially love how he wrote 'a' for Daddy so there wasn't confusion with 'Daniel' (forgetting the confusion with Alexander).

Sunday morning all the kiddies got to shower Daddy with love. They were kind enough to give Daddy a sleep in and then when he woke, we sent him back to bed for presents. Eliza gave Daddy a pot with a chilli plant in it, Daniel gave Daddy a neuton's cradle and a iPhone pillow and Alexander gave Daddy a photo album. They also gave him bookmarks, pictures and cards.

Crazy kiddies with a crazy Daddy
After doing shopping we headed to Nana and Poppy's for lunch to celebrate Howie's birthday. It was nice to see everyone for Fathers' Day too. The kids had fun climbing trees
Spot Eliza and Oscar
I got to hang out with my Daddy.
Of course I put my phone down at some point and so I got to have some bonus photos of people including these 3.
And because it was Howie's birthday not birthday we had cake.

At Kids church, Daniel and the other kids in his group made some fun Dad ties.

Because we hadn't had the time to go out for Fathers' Day on the actual day, we headed back to Monday Morning cafe for Saturday morning breakfast. The kids were very excited to get such a big meal and babychinos with sprinkles!

Happy Daddy with his coffee
Tasty food!
So lovely to be able to celebrate a great dad! Happy Fathers' Day James.
