After Eliza having her Elsa cake at her birthday party, Aunty Megan offered to pay for Eliza to go to the movies to see Frozen. Due to having busy months each time it was on (First Sunday of the month) we didn't get around to it until the start of November. Aunty Megan kindly offered for Eliza to bring a friend too. Eliza chose to bring Emily, which I was glad about. I didn't feel comfortable taking anyone else. The girls were so excited. Both woke early, both got dressed straight away. So cute! They looked beautiful in their Elsa costumes.
When we were about to enter the cinema we saw that Elsa was waiting outside. Eliza was so excited to meet her and had to point out her Elsa dress, her Elsa crown and her Elsa braid. Elsa was very patient listening to her.
Emily was a bit more hesitant but did agree to have a photo with Eliza and Elsa.
It was so kind of Aunty Megan to organise this and pay for it too. I loved that Eliza chose to sit next to her and chat with her during the movie. Such a special moment for them both. At one point I saw Eliza jump and then heard her say that she was shocked and afraid by the wolves but that she was ok now. Aunty Megan replied saying that she was also shocked by the wolves. Too sweet!
Elsa introduced the movie at the start and gave out a gift to some lucky door winners. We just missed out by one ticket!
The girls loved the movie. They sang the songs toward the end. It was a great experience.
Thanks Aunty Megan!
After the movie we headed home.
We also had a sneaky icecream stop before hometime.
So lovely to spend some special time with just Eliza. I really need to do this more.
