Alexander was excited about his dinosaur egg and couldn't wait to see what would hatch from it.
Eliza and Daniel both enjoyed making their dinosaur skeletons.

Alexander loved watching his dinosaur hatch from the egg. He was excited to come out and check on it each day. Once it was fully grown he was so excited to see it, but was surprised when he touched it that it felt slimy.

It has been a crazy busy time lately at home with James being very busy with work, carols, church things, preschool things, lots of stuff. It had meant many nights out, many crazy busy days and nights so it was nice to have a day out with out little family.

We then quickly walked through the rainforest to the Miner's Hut. There there was a chance to meet a baby dinosaur. So cool to be able to pat a baby triceratops. It was very cute! Alexander wasn't so sure about it though. He didn't want to pat it but was happy waving at it.
We then enjoyed returning to the top of the rainforest walk and completed the Junior Ranger booklet. The kids all liked the interactive stations.
They got to chat with a dinosaur how they thought they'd sound.
Eliza was excited to see some pteranodons. She hoped we would see some.
She also loved going on Daddy's shoulders.
The different dinosaurs were cool to see.
These 2 kiddies like to butt heads at the moment just like these dinosaurs.
Alexander liked seeing the Mummy dinosaur with her babies.
The kids loved watching the ground move under them again on the Scenicway. It was cool to see Katoomba Falls flowing a lot.
We then decided to go on the Scenic Railway one last time. We were fortunate to go at the very front of it so the kids enjoyed writing their names and drawing themselves on the board while we waited.
We were front row on the way down. Much more intense than front row on the way back up.
Once back up the top the kids got their ranger cards stamped and Alexander had a stamp on his hand. Not the best idea because it ended up all over his face. Cutie!
What fun Dinosaur adventures!
