The weekend after school finished Preeti invited all of Mothers' Group around to their new place for a play, lunch, a catch up and a swim. Their new place is amazing! So big, everything you would want there. After all they did design the place themselves so it does make sense that everything was there. It was so nice to be able to sit and chat with everyone, especially after the Carols got interrupted with heading to the hospital.
This group of mums are just amazing. I am so glad that we have been on this journey together. I love their kids and their husbands are great. The kids play well together and have lots of fun. Chatting with the mums is always helpful and reassuring. They are kind, caring and supportive. It was really nice to be able to get together, especially after not being able to see the families much because of Covid, but also with restrictions coming into place the next day which would have meant that we wouldn't have been able to catch up. So it was good timing.
The kids had a great time eating, playing together and swimming in their pool (it was heated so didn't matter that it was raining a little bit). It was nice to not have to go into the pool this time and Angus was awesome in helping Alexander as he was in there for Flynnie too.
It is crazy that all these kids came from us mums.
These beautiful mums are amazing! They each have their qualities that stand out but they are all so encoring, supportive and caring. Our chats pick up where they left off. I look forward to more lunches and plays as our babies continue to grow up.
