Wannabees

While Daniel headed to Tasmania with James and Malcolm to watch the V8s Eliza and Alexander headed to Wannabees for Eve's birthday. I have sometimes thought about taking the kids here but wasn't sure how they would respond to it. Now I'm glad that I haven't taken them because both kids were quite overwhelmed by all the options so they didn't really explore that much. Don't get the wrong, they did have a blast at it in the end but it took a long time to warm up to it and even then they only did a few of the rooms - the post office and the cafe/pizza place. The others they only passed through when they had to. But it was a fun time for Eve's birthday and Eve really did love it which is what is important! Here is a glimpse of what the kids got up to.

 The had a little dance party on the stage with the kids dressed in costumes. Alexander really enjoyed dancing around on the stage. Eliza was very focussed on doing proper dance steps like Emma Wiggle does.

We then had party food and cake - an icecream cake. Yum! Happy birthday Eve!

The kids then went and played again. They had fun delivering letters from the post office.

In the car on the way home the kids looked in their party bags. Alexander was excited to have a party blower. He and Eliza had many giggles in the car on the way home.
