Alexander's First Drawing

Another first has happened for Alexander. After drawing scribbles (and doing it most of the time when colouring in) he sat down to draw Eliza's birthday message. He started to do a scribble and said he had finished but I asked him if he then wanted to draw Eliza. He said yes and drew a circle. I was very excited. I then said that it needed eyes so he drew eyes and a smile. I then mentioned arms and he drew them and legs. Then he said he needed to draw hair. Bless.
I then loved seeing Eliza's reaction when I pointed out that it was his first drawing of a person and he chose to draw her. Precious.

Eliza's reaction was just beautiful.

The next day he then drew 2 pictures at preschool. 1 was of me (which I love) and the other was a picture of him.
