We headed over to meet and learn about some of the different animals at the Reptile Park.

Next we headed down to the Tasmanian Devil enclosure and got to meet one of them and the kids got to pat them.
Next the kids got to go in to meet Hugo.
The kids then got to go into the koala enclosure to meet one of the koalas. On the way Eliza kept saying 'I want to go now. I want to join be with Oscar, Daniel and Alexander.' Sigh. You try to do something special and fun for the kids, and this is their response. I told her that we would meet up with them after but that we weren't going to leave the group. She seemed ok with that but was still a bit quiet during it.
She liked patting the koala and even managed a smile for the camera (with the help of the keeper tickling her).
Next up we went to the echidna enclosure. Eliza liked patting the echidna and we chatted about Randal from Tasmania who Eliza bought an echidna toy of. She said the echidna felt soft.
Next up we headed up to the lorikeets to give them some food. The kids were given a spoon with some of the lorikeet food mixture on it to put through the fence for the birds to come and eat from. The birds weren't very keen.
The keeper then asked if the kids wanted to go in and try to feed the birds inside the cage. Eliza headed in with the 2nd group and managed to find some hungry lorikeets who climbed down the cage to eat the food.
Eliza told me after that this was her favourite part of the tour.
Lastly we went to feed the kangaroos. Unfortunately there wasn't enough food bags for Eliza, so the keeper took her up to get some more and Eliza was lucky enough to have 2 bags.
Eliza adored feeding the kangaroos. And they were so hungry too! It was great.

We then met up again with Nana, Poppy and the boys for lunch. They met Super Hugo again and he cheekily took Alexander's drink bottle this time.
I had a photo voucher so I asked Eliza what photo she'd like to get with Oscar, Daniel and Alexander and she asked to get a photo with the alligator. They were very brave with holding it. Oscar was excited to hold its head. Eliza kept giggling because the alligator was tickling her leg with its foot.

We then headed to the Superhero show where Captain America and Spiderman did a few different tricks for everyone. They kept the big kids entertained but Alexander wasn't so keen to stick around. Pretty clever stunt people did the tricks!
Meanwhile Alexander got another hug from Super Hugo.
And giggles at Dippy who put her foot in her food.
After another trip to the dancing spider we finished off the day with an ice cream. Very happy kids.
Thanks for a fun day Nana and Poppy and for helping out with the kids.
