February Happenings

February meant the start of school and the start of sickness. Fortunately they provided packets of RATs for us to use each time the kids were sick. They would come home with 2 packs each. One day Alexander was absent from school because he was sick. After his RAT being negative, he wanted to have his own pack to test his toys. I gave him cotton buds to use as the testers.

Because I started MAP, if it was a Monday or Tuesday the kids were home with James while he worked from home. To help keep them occupied I made to do lists of options of activities they could do.

We played Wii bowling for a Tuesday Fun Night. I just love watching the excitement of the kids when they support each other and cheer each other on.

We enjoyed reading Mary Poppins together and finished the last book. It was nice sitting and readying and having them do puzzles while listening. They'd still laugh, or ask questions while building.

The kids were very excited to meet and have cuddles with Ace (well, have Ace sit on their shoulder).

Eliza decided to make the morning tea muffins for me and I tried really hard to take a step back for her.

This was a bit of a cute moment while walking to school. My gorgeous boys.

Alexander started writing some of his high frequency words (he is very excited to learn!)
