Thanks for the Memories Jarrad and Kieren

The last AFL game of the season was an afternoon game and it was great to have the kids be able to come and watch the Swans play but also farewell 2 legends of the game and of the club - Jarrad McVeigh and Kieren Jack. These 2 players were badges that I had bought many years ago so was a bit sad that they both were retiring.

We hopped into the car and headed to the game. Poppy was going to meet us in there.
We decided to head in early to go for a walk down Driver Ave. Daniel loved it when we went for his Auskick game so we thought we'd do it with all 3 kids. It was a bit of fun, although Eliza and Alexander did whinge a bit about how long it took to line up for things and how they were hungry. I did say to James that we probably won't do it again with all 3 kids until they were older.
We spun to win - sunglasses, yoyos, footballs. We then lined up for tattoos and face painting.

Daniel went with Dad to find the putt putt golf but it wasn't there so he instead did the inflatable obstacle course. The kids sang the Swans song in the car, but didn't get onto the big screen at half time. They each did a little obstacle course.

We headed into the game and had fun watching the Swans win!
And what a send off for Jarrad and Kieren, both scoring a goal in the final quarter and having a wonderful celebration.
After the game we went down to the field for Kick2Kick. The kids had another great time playing on the SCG, kicking and handballing to each other.

While the Swans didn't do so well this season, it has been fun going and supporting them, being with my family for a few of the games and having a few Kick2Kicks after the game. Looking forward to next season.
Go Swannies!
