Father's Day 2019

This year for Father's Day, the kids and I got creative. Instead of heading out to breakfast/brunch (which James loves to do but would be very busy at the restaurants) we decided to create Nooblette cafe. We started with a lazy morning sleep with Daddy (well, not really a sleep. More a lie down and many giggles).
Then it was present time. Daddy was very excited to see what the kids chose to get him.

Laughing at Alexander's message 'Sad Father's Day. Happy Father's Day'

These kiddies sure are lucky to have Daddy as their Daddy. They love him to bits!
We then left Daddy for his next surprise - the kids got changed into their chefs outfits.
Daddy looked at his menu choices and Daniel took his order.

He needed to pay with his Daddy Dollars.

Alexander started first with 'Alexander's Awesome fruit skewers'. He did a great job threading them onto the skewer.

Next up was Eliza's Excellent Bagels with Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese. She did a great job spreading the bagels with the cream cheese.

Daniel put the hash browns into the oven, which cooked before the hot breakfast. Oops. They were still tasty though.

Of course we all enjoyed eating our special breakfasts.
Then Daniel cooked Daniel's Delicious Bacon and Eggs. He did a great job!

So proud of the kiddies and their cooking efforts and Daddy really liked his brunch!

The kids then wanted to take on Daddy with the fuss ball game that Alexander gave him.
In the afternoon the kids were desperate to play the Wii and James was more than happy to pull out the Rock Band kit. The afternoon then had the kids playing drums, guitars and bass to some fun Rock music.

I loved watching Alexander while he played the guitar, even though it wasn't connected. He had the hip movement and everything.

Also, who could forget that Daniel had his school day Father's Day breakfast at Monday Morning cafe. A new tradition that has started.

Happy Father's Day James. The kids really do adore you and love doing fun activities with you like the did today.
