But over lockdown and in the months following we noticed that Chilli has mellowed a lot. The kids have worked out when to pat her and to know if she is going to be happy to a pat. They even ask for her to be put on top of them in bed to have cuddles (mostly the boys). Most mornings we will hear patting the bed or clicking fingers to ask Chilli to come over. I do like that she has mellowed a little and that the kids are forming their own little relationships with her. I also like that she is enjoying snuggles more and I'm not as scared to give her a pat.
