Daniel's Choice Day

 To finish off the holidays, in the last week the kids each got to decide what happened in the day (within reason). They could choose what they had for breakfast, some activities that we could do (but they needed to be Covid safe so we couldn't really go out anywhere like they wanted to), cook a treat with me and decide what we had for lunch.

Daniel was first up. For breakfast he decided on eggs on toast (he wanted bacon and eggs but we didn't have any bacon so this was the next best option). He was pretty happy.

He had been pretty desperate to play Beach Sports on the Wii so today was the day that we said yes. They had fun playing beach cricket and then we did a bit of bocce.

I loved this

The treat that Daniel decided to cook with me (which he ended up doing mostly on his own) was chocolate dipped fruit. He cut the pieces up himself, stirred the chocolate and dipped it in. He also remembered to not touch the chocolate because it does burn (unlike last time where he picked up a spilt bit of melted chocolate which then burnt him leaving a blister).

It was a pretty nice day for Daniel. We also had bike riding, trampoline, cricket, the usual activities too.
