Sleepy Bubba

It has been a while between Alexander falling asleep in places during the day. During term 4 he has been getting quite tired in the afternoon before school pick up, but I have been pushing him to stay awake so that he will go down easily at night. This day though we sat on the couch to read some books. The little man told me that he was not tired and wasn't going to have a nap.

After reading the book I looked over at Alexander and found him to be asleep sitting up.

I decided to lie him down on the couch so that he could have a bit of a proper sleep until we needed to go to pick up Daniel from school.

When I tried to wake him up, he was so tired he wouldn't budge! I lifted him into my arms and he stayed asleep. He must have really needed this nap! 

I did enjoy the cuddles in my arms and how he was just so tired. It's crazy how the time has gone and how long it has been since he has slept in my arms like this. I decided to pause, not rush and enjoy the sleepy cuddle because I'm sure they're not going to be happening much anymore.
