This year our school didn't have a Family Fun day. Instead they had a Family Movie Night. This included rides and stalls in the afternoon followed by the LEGO2 movie once the sun went down. We headed up towards the end of the night and the kids enjoyed looking at the different stalls. They wanted to go on a ride but the rides were close to closing so we decided that they could each go on the giant slide - 1 ticket gave them 2 rides.
Daniel was super keen for it. Eliza was a little bit nervous. Alexander was keen but then because nervous as he went up the stairs. James went with him. The poor little guy did not enjoy his first ride down the slide. He cried on the way down and did not like it at all!

James said that they were going to do it again and he wasn't so keen but he still went up the stairs. Meanwhile Daniel, Lachie and Ems had a race down the slide.
Then Daddy, Alexander and Eliza went down the slide again. This time was much better. You can even hear Alexander going 'Weee' as he came down.
Maybe it was fear of the unknown, or maybe he just really didn't like it. Not too sure but I'm happy that he did like it 2nd time around and that he gave it another go.
