Reptile Park Date With Alexander

I have decided that I need to try and make the most of my time with Alexander before he starts preschool next year. I know I will still have 3 days with him but I'm sure those 3 days will go quickly. So we decided to have a trip to the Reptile Park after dropping off the other 2 at preschool and school.

He was keen to watch Elvis.

And we were able to get up close to the tawny frogmouth, Oompa. Alexander was a bit hesitant to get too close to him but he did well.

We then headed to the playground. I decided that I would let him decide what we'd do instead of me guiding him or encouraging him to look at different things. It was the first time that he climbed the rope bridge.

We then enjoy looking at the kangaroos and giving them a pat. Alexander even fed them some grass.

It was a short visit but a fun one led by Alexander. Thanks buddy!
