Go Swans!

This season of AFL games has been different. The draw is announced every couple of weeks instead of at the start of the year so we have at times had things booked when they announce when the games are on. But the positive has been that there have been a few daytime games which we have been able to take the kids to!

17th April was the first game for our family to go altogether (after James took them to the game while I was away with the church girls). This game was also where we got the kids their own Swans scarves to wear to the games. It's pretty special for them to get these and I hope that they will continue to wear them as they grow up, like I do my first Swans scarf.

Then on the 30th May we all went to our first game with all of us (Dad included after his Tasmania trip). It was nice to be altogether again at the Swans.

For Friday night footy the Swans put out a challenge to send in your Friday work gear and possibly win a Swans Shop voucher. James entered this photo which is pretty cute! No-one ended up winning.

Then that night Anne had her first Swans game experience. It wasn't the best game but she enjoyed it, enjoyed her beer and said that she will come back to another game so that's good to know.

I do enjoy going to the games!
