Eliza has been enjoying riding her bike around. To be able to do this with Alexander he enjoys being pushed around in the car.
Trying to get a photo of just Alexander is near impossible at the moment. The other 2 just love being with him and being in photos with him!
For nap times, Eliza has decided that she won't sleep in her bed. Instead she sets up the little couch and has a nap on there.
Cubby houses are still in high demand. At least once a week the kids ask to build a cubby house which they then pull out many books to sit and read, play with toys in, have a rest in.
I have still been taking Eliza and Alexander to the library. Normally I have Alexander try and sleep so he's in the ergo but the last couple of weeks I have let him sit on my lap for the songs and stories. He has enjoyed the singing a lot, especially 'If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.' He then did his first library craft and was pretty happy about it. He only ate a few crayons too. Cheeky boy!
At Mum and Dad's place Alexander enjoys playing through the doors. He very very cute playing with Auntie Jenny the other week.
We also had a great chuckle when he was playing with a ball. He kept lifting it up over his head and dropping it behind him. At times it got stuck in his hood on his back and he couldn't find it.
I took the kids to the park for a play and let Alexander explore the park. He had a blast climbing up the steps and crawling over to the slide. He's definitely not afraid to explore! I really loved watching him use the slide on his own. Very graceful.
I also had fun playing with slow motion on my phone with Alexander on the swing.
Alexander is into pretending to do things. One is pretending to eat and pretending to drink. I thought it was funny watching him pretend to eat after he'd finished his lunch.
He loves sitting on the couch! One of his favourite places to go.
The other day Daniel got a piece of scrap paper and started to write some letters. He then would ask me what he was spelling. Some letters made sense, some letters didn't but it was great to watch him having a go, exploring letters and sounds and writing. Some words were by, me, am.
Alexander is following in Daniel's footsteps of loving cars. He will drive them on the ground blowing raspberries to make the driving sound.
Alexander's giggles are gorgeous. I just want to bottle them up!
Alexander just loves playing with his little guitar.
It is great fun playing musical statues with him. The kids enjoy joining in too.
And then they had fun driving around in their cars.
At preschool Daniel has also started to write words on his paintings and drawings. I just love him growing and learning. I can't wait to see where it's going to take him! Here is his picture from space discussions - rocket, stars and me.
