The last month...

We have been a bit busy the last month as you can see from the recent blog posts. There are a few more things that have been going on.

Daniel (and Eliza) have been enjoying his totem tennis from the Howies.

Daniel did a beautiful picture of our family at Preschool. I especially loved how he wrote our names next to the pictures. It made me smile so much!

Daniel has also really enjoyed playing one of his birthday present games - Operation. It brings back great memories from when I was little, playing it with my sister.

My boys love each other so much!

Alexander had his first bike ride. I took the kids to the park for a ride and a play but Eliza didn't feel like riding home. She wanted to go in the ergo. So I put the helmet on him and popped him on the bike. He loved it! We will need to go for some rides (and get Eliza a bigger bike).

We went and bought Eliza a new helmet and she was very happy to be wearing it. Works well so Alexander now has a helmet.
Alexander had fun watching Eliza and Daniel ride their bikes.
I love watching Alexander learn new things and new skills. He gets simple pleasure out of simple things, like spinning around part of Daniel's train tracks.
At dinner time the kids made me laugh. This night was a dance party. Eliza's dancing is especially awesome.
We have started reading bedtime stories to Alexander and his Bible. I love this time! He hasn't had the chance to read many books with us because of the other 2 kids so it's really precious to sit and read with him, just him. He seems to enjoy books too which is nice. It also seems to settle him at bedtime too which is nice.

We went to a birthday party at the same park where we had Daniel's party. As soon as we arrived Alexander went straight to the play equipment. I then watched him climb up the stairs, crawl over to the slide, sit on his bottom and slide down. All on his own! What a champ.
Eliza loves her baths. She loves relaxing in it once the boys are out. James and I feel she will be a bath lover as she grows up.
Alexander loves his baths. We ask him to walk to the bathroom for bath time and he goes straight there. He then loves sitting in the bath and playing with the toys.
I love how his whole face smiles
Mum and Dad gave Daniel a lacing shoe for his birthday to learn how to do shoelaces. I did it with him a couple of times but really haven't had the time to sit and go through it with him a lot. During nap time Daniel did it on his own and was so proud of himself! He then accidentally undid it but was able to redo it again. Well done Daniel! You deserve to be very proud of yourself.
Alexander has been having fun playing the keyboard. He plays, dances and laughs. It's gorgeous.
Alexander has started to learn to nod his head. He's so cute when he does it! He doesn't fully understand when to nod and when to shake his head though. It's great fun chatting with him and seeing his responses. Here is one glimpse of a conversation with him.

I love these monkeys! I'm loving seeing them grow, develop and learn, each in their different ways.
