A couple of weeks ago I helped out a friend who needed her little 14 week old baby looked after. I wasn't sure how Alexander would go with me looking after a little bub. He hasn't really seen me holding another bubba.
Before Daniel went to preschool he enjoyed helping Lily play with the mobile. He cheered for her when she touched the different parts of it. It brought back memories of when Alexander was a newborn. He just loves little babies!
After Dad took Daniel to preschool Eliza started to help Lily play. She was also so taken by Lily and enjoyed watching her play.
But Alexander was the one who surprised me! He was so curious about Lily and so gentle with her. He loved patting her and holding her hand.
He also loved chatting with her. So sweet to watch him interact with another little person.
I do miss having a little bubba. It was nice to hold a little one again. But it was also nice to give her back to her parents. :-)
