Cubby houses and swings

One morning Daniel and Eliza tried to make a cubby house using their little chairs and a wrap. It wasn't very big and couldn't really fit anything in it so I helped them make a bigger one using the couch and chairs from the dining room, queen bed sheets, cushions. The kids loved it. They wanted to make another one the next day so we did. They had a great time getting books and sitting inside it to read. They took toys inside it and happily played in there. It was so lovely to see.

One morning the kids got Daddy to help make a cubby house in the back room. This was even wider and bigger for the kids. We decided to have a picnic lunch inside the cubby house. Daniel was very excited about that.
I sense that cubby houses will be made a lot more in the future.

James went for a trip to Bunnings to get some bolts and chains to put the swing up under the carport so Alexander could use it. While there he found a swing that Eliza and Daniel can use and they love using it! Good find Daddy.

When in Hervey Bay Daniel came close to learning how to swing on his own. James was great with teaching him! Once at home and on his new swing he actually worked out how to swing on his own.
