Count down is on

Tomorrow I am 38 weeks pregnant. That means that Beanie can come anytime... eeek. That's a bit daunting but also exciting. Can't wait to meet this little person. Last week at the appointment I was very happy to hear that Beanie had turned - Dr Booker didn't need to help it turn. Phew. My blood pressure is still looking good which is wonderful to hear. I have had a couple of migraines these past phew weeks which hasn't been great but fortunately they haven't been related to my blood pressure. Mum and Dad were a huge help on Sunday coming around to look after the kids, make dinner, put the kids to bed for me so that I could rest. A huge help. I'm so lucky that I have family living close.

Next week I need to get another ultrasound to check that my placenta has moved up as it was sitting low at my 20 week check. Dr Booker isn't too concerned about it but he just wants to be safe. He said that there was another mum a little bit ago where he thought it would be ok but ended up having bleeding and an emergency c-section and he doesn't want that to happen here. So next week I have the ultrasound and then at my appointment we will hopefully book when I go in to get induced. Then we will be a family of 5. That's pretty crazy!

The kids are pretty excited about it though. Eliza likes to give Beanie kisses and cuddles when she sees my tummy. A few nights ago when Daniel and I were chatting at bedtime I told him that Beanie could hear him. I asked him if he wanted to say anything to Beanie and he put his hand on my tummy and said "I love you Beanie". It was just the sweetest thing to hear him say. I can't wait to see how he looks after Beanie now he is that much older. He was great with Eliza, but I think that he will be even better with Beanie.

36.5 weeks - dressed up for a wedding
