Happy Birthday Oscar!

On Sunday Daniel went to his first birthday party and it was to celebrate his cousin Oscar's 4th birthday. Daniel did well with his feeding and sleeping times. He slept in the car and then continued to sleep while James and I helped with the set up.
All good

When he woke up he had some lovely cuddles with Auntie Sue.

Basically the rest of the party I held him for maybe 5 minutes (besides a feed with me). The rest of the time he had some lovely cuddles with Auntie Sue, Grayma, Mary, Poppy, Daddy, Mel, Kaysey, Auntie Jenny, Nana (and I'm not too sure who else but lots of people)! He was just so content sitting in people's arms.

This meant that I could take photos for Jens and also just enjoy the party. Oscar seemed to have a great party.

Loving the food! The gingerbread were lovely!
Daniel got to meet Zoe and Tilly again which was lovely, although Tilly was quite tired so wasn't very interested in chatting with Daniel.
Meanwhile Howie set up the first game - Angry Birds real life. So cool. I think it was an awesome idea and the kids loved it!

Meanwhile Daniel met his 2nd cousins for the first time - Kaysey and Tristan. It was lovely to see Kaysey giving Daniel a cuddle. Tristan wasn't too interested though.

Grandma liked Daniel's hat so much, she decided to wear it while I fed him.
Then it was cake time. Oscar LOVES birthday cake so was excited to have Happy birthday sung to him and to blow out the candles. Good job Jens making the cake! It was yummy.

Whilst we packed up, Daniel had his first attempt at finger food. He didn't really eat it, but he did gnaw on a carrot stick. Nothing went in, but it was cute to watch. He also surprised me by holding onto it for so long.
Then once everything was packed up we heaved over to the Howie's place to give Oscar his birthday present. He was a good boy and read the card first
Then he opened his present. He was very excited to see his first part of the present.
A personalised Cars 2 book!
And he loved his new Chuggington train to join his set.
As we left he was reading his book with his Grandpa. Awesome and so glad that he like it.
Happy Birthday Oscar! Thanks for letting us celebrate with you!
