Sleeping has been a bit patchy at the moment and we're not too sure why. There could be a lot of factors. He has been sick with a cold that is making him quite blocked up, but it hasn't seemed to faze him too much. He could be going through a growth spurt so he has wanted to be eating more. His teeth seem to be bothering him a bit more again as he is sucking his bottom lip a lot more and loving his chew toys from Auntie Jenny. A suitable one for being a Noble is his new iPhone.
But who knows why he is waking up. The past couple of nights though I have been up to feed him 2-3 times and it is getting quite exhausting. I know it is what a baby does, it is just hard to do when he never really did it as a young baby. Maybe he is just making up for missed time. Like last night I went to bed at 9. He woke at 10:30 for a feed (this is the feed which he has started to add in that tires me more I think). He fed for 45mins and then went back to sleep. He then woke at 3:15 for a feed and then he woke again at 6 for a feed. So both James and I are pretty tired at the moment. I tell you what, Daniel is lucky that he is so cute and can take away any tiredness frustrations straight again. The positive is that he goes to sleep pretty well each time, even in the day time (touch wood). Very rarely do we have to go into him to settle him once we put him down. It's just getting hard to know how long he will sleep for. Like today, each nap he has slept for 1 1/2-2 hours. Maybe another reason why he isn't sleeping as long at night. Who knows! We are just hoping that this will pass soon and that we have enough energy to make it through each day.
On Friday it is James' birthday and we are heading to the Blue Mountains for the night which should be really nice. I am hoping that Daniel sleeps well (first time of him sleeping in the same room as us) and that we can do different things during the day.
