1st May brought the 1st season of all 3 kids playing AFL. I was again coaching Daniel's AFL team which was quite nice (especially after having last season cut short being of COVID) but it also meant that I wasn't able to go to Eliza and Alexander's Auskick sessions which I was a bit sad about. Fortunately James was able to go and cheer them on and help out where needed which was nice for him.
Eliza and Alexander loved their first Auskick session. They had a great time kicking, running, playing different games. They did a great job at splitting the girls and boys into different groups and then splitting the younger kids from the older kids, creating 4 groups.
Daniel also had lots of fun playing with his Under 10 team mates. It's a great little group of kids, half from my team last year and half from the other team. I am nervous about what this year will look like with coaching as a lot of these players a good and want to win, but I will just do my best. I do love that Daniel is still happy having me as his coach.
So 3 kiddies playing AFL this season and loving it! Bring on the 2022 season.
