On the 15th March, just before his 6th birthday, Alexander lost his first tooth. He was lying in bed and called out in the morning 'Mum, my tooth has come out'. There wasn't really any blood, just a little tooth and a gap in his mouth.
We compared his lost tooth to Elvis' lost tooth. Elvis won by far!
With James being away, and a lot going on, the tooth fairy accidentally forgot to come in the morning to take the tooth and gift Alexander some money. Oops. Alexander wasn't too upset in the morning but did say 'Mum, the tooth fairy didn't come'. Fortunately the next night the tooth fairy did remember to come. Anne kindly helped with writing a card for Alexander again so that he got it from the tooth fairy.
He was very excited to show me but also mentioned that he thought the tooth fairy was me... clever bubba. But glad that he still joined in the excitement of it all.
