April started with a weekend away to celebrate Michael and Amy's wedding. It was so lovely going with Nana J and James. We stayed in such a cute little Air B&B. James did a great job finding it. The peace and quiet was so nice to have and a slower pace. It was also lovely to dress up and enjoy a night out with James. The location was beautiful and it was just such a joyful wedding. Congratulations Michael and Amy.
We had an extra day with Nana J at home with the kids before she headed back to Hervey Bay.
Alexander made an ice cream shop. He had so much detail in the choices.
Now that Alexander was better he had his turn at helping cook dinner. He loved making dumplings!
Daniel had his cricket presentation night. The team enjoyed celebrating the season, and even though they didn't win a game they won the Excellence in Team Spirit and Loyalty award for the club.
We headed to the Reptile Park with some friends - Emma, Mikey, Lachie, Ems and Flynnie.

Daniel was chosen to be a part of the Superhero Stunt Show.
We did another getting lost adventure. This time we drove and started at Windsor.
We went to our First Natural Signposted Natural Attraction (with a little bit of a twist) being Rotary Lookout.
We turned right down Douglas Road and then put 'Lake' into the gps. It came up with nothing nearish so we decided to ignore that. We headed to a street that began with 'M', Mill Street. Again a bit of an uneven. We then danced and sang to the next song - 'Still haven't found what I'm looking for' followed by 'Tippy Toes'.
We headed to the town or suburb that started with E - Ebenezer - and stumbled upon Ebenezer church, the oldest church building in Australia. What a cool find! We ordered some tea and scones and enjoyed our afternoon tea in the gardens. Followed by a walk around the church.
We headed back home over the car ferry and past Glenorie Bakehouse with some extra treats.
We enjoyed an adventure to go Apple Picking. We had so much fun last time, we decided that we should go again. It didn't disappoint. We also grabbed some pears too.

We played another getting lost at home edition. The kids had to put on a show for James and I, I was the lucky recipient of a make over thanks to Eliza and Alexander.
We played hide and seek and read a book and acted it out. Then the kids took turns verbally directing each other through the house.
