Mothers' Day

Mothers' Day has passed for this year and I was very spoilt by my gorgeous kiddies and lovely husband.

The Friday morning Daniel decided that he wanted us to go to Monday Morning Cafe for our Mothers' Day breakfast. It is basically going to be our tradition on Mothers' and Fathers' Day to go there with the school kids. It was nice to go and sit with him and to chat. It was also nice to have a hot chocolate and babychino and a yummy cooked breakfast.

A lovely way to start my day with my big boy.

Then on Sunday morning I got ready for Daniel's AFL and then climbed back into bed. The kids gave me their generous gifts - Daniel gave me a dancing flower, a butterfly sandwich cutter and a cook book, Eliza gave me a necklace, Alexander gave me a necklace with their initials on it (from London in the markets).

We then headed to Daniel's AFL altogether. I have chosen to help coach the Auskickers so that was what I did this morning.

A bonus was that Daniel won one of the AusKicker of the week. He got a certificate and canteen voucher. He was quite excited to get a egg and sausage roll and a pack of lollies. Lucky boy.

We then headed home, got changed and then headed to Auntie Sue's place for Mum's birthday lunch and Mothers' Day. The kids loved watching the clock.
We sang Happy Birthday to Nana and enjoyed a carrot cake.

The kids spent most of the time outside in the garden which made it quite relaxing inside and gave me chances to have a chat.

A lovely relaxed time.
