Brooklyn

On the last day of school holidays I decided I wanted to take the kids out for an adventure. The destination - Brooklyn.
Mum and Dad were looking after Oscar so I asked them if they wanted to come too. Amazingly it was their first time coming to Brooklyn! Wowee. We sunscreened up and had a play at the park.

This is what big cousins are for

Oscar, Daniel and Eliza had fun climbing pretending that they were staying off lava
We then headed down to the little beach. It was so nice to feel comfortable with the kids playing in the water, walking deep in the water and swimming without me being in the water too. The kids did great! They had a lot of fun playing together in the water.

Mum and Dad needed to go so they headed home with Oscar and we kept playing in the water for a bit longer. The kids were so happy building sandcastles and playing in the water.

Daniel found some bubble seaweed and was having fun squirting it at me
This was really as far into the water that I went. Yay for kids growing in confidence in the water
Eliza and Daniel dug holes. Alexander filled them up with water

I definitely need to go to Brooklyn more with them because it is a nice, easy play to get to and a safe place for the kids to play. A fun way to finish the holidays.
