Beach with the cousins

With the weather being nice and warm Jens, James and I decided that we would take the kiddies to the beach. Such a fun idea and such a fun day! We headed to Umina, sunscreened up and hopped into the water. The water was so nice and refreshing. The kids really enjoyed riding the waves using Daniel and Oscar's boards. Even Alexander had a decent go on the board without being upset about being on it. It was nice to feel more comfortable with the kids in the water knowing that they are more confident themselves and aren't as afraid of the waves.

When it was time to head, Oscar was out at the larger waves. I headed out to help him come back to the sand because Jens was already out. He wasn't too keen to hop out of the water so we did a count down of waves to jump over/swim under. We did 10 waves. It was lots of fun jumping and diving under the waves with him. I can't wait for the kids to be older so I can do that with them too.

After the beach the kids were exhausted and all fell asleep in the car.
