Easter Hat Parade

After making Easter Hats at school for lots of years, I got to send in supplies for Daniel to make his own hat at school with his buddy. I sent in cardboard, chickens, glitter glue and stickers and had no idea of what to expect. I also had Eliza and Alexander make their own Easter hats to wear that afternoon and join in the fun. Their hats were pretty cute.

The weather was really hot so Alexander and Eliza were a bit out of sorts while we watched the parade. Daniel was very happy sitting there watching the other kids walk around for the parade.
He loved seeing the Easter Bunny come out and say hi to everyone. He was even lucky enough to get a high five from it.
Then it was Daniel's turn to walk around with his class. Daniel's hat looked really cute. He was a bit sad that he didn't have a proper hat but I think he did an awesome job with his cardboard hat. His buddy also had an awesome hat that was massive! As he walked around the loop, he liked giving everyone high fives. So much so, he forgot to wave to me as he walked past.

But he did smile and wave as he walked back to class at the end of the parade.
The kids and teachers all looked like they had a lovely time.
