Easter

In the lead up to Easter this year while we were shopping the kids were able to do some plaster painting. They had a blast decorating Easter decorations - eggs and a bunny.

 They were so proud of their creations.

The night before Easter Sunday I set up a little Easter tree with the decorations from Nana J and Boompa and Nana and Poppy. I also made some little Easter baskets and found their chicken hats from the Easter Hat parade.

The kids were excited to come out and see the Easter baskets that meant they were going to do an Easter egg hunt.

The kids had a blast moving from one place to the next trying to find the eggs. They did well in finding most of them without us helping.

We also got the kids some winter pjs for them because we didn't just want them to have chocolate. Success!

They were pretty stoked with their findings from the hunt.

We headed to church to celebrate the real reason for Easter - Jesus' resurrection from the dead. Thank you Jesus for the sacrifice that you made. It was great chatting with the kids about the real meaning of Easter! I hope they take the real meaning away.
