Sing a Song

I am trying to interact more with Alexander when I have the chance to. This includes singing songs to him after a feed, especially after nap time, doing 'this little piggy', chatting with him, etc. he seems to enjoy the times when I do.

Last week I sang 'Row, Row, Row Your Boat' to him and I got some lovely gummy smiles.

I do love how his smiles start in the bottom left corner of his mouth and then it spreads to the whole mouth. Pretty cute. 

Later that day Daniel was singing to Alexander and I told him that Alexander liked Row Row. Daniel sang it to him but Alexander was getting tired so started to cry. Daniel stopped and told me he didn't like the song so proceeded to sing 'De Glumph'. A few days later Daniel was singing to Alexander again and he was happier this time, but didn't really do smiles. Daniel commented that he like the song this time.

I love how much Daniel adores Alexander. When he went in for his operation Daniel commented that he was going to miss Alexander. As soon as he came back home he gave Alexander a big cuddle. It is pretty sweet to watch how much he loves Alexander.

Alexander isn't too sure about 'This Little Piggy' but he does seem to respond to it.

I'm loving how he's developing.
