This is our little beanie (like beanie baby). We are very excited, yet surprised by this news. It has been a lot to get our heads around - with how 3 kids will work in our house, how will I cope with 3 kids at home, how do you do it with just 2 hands yet 3 little people. But then it is such a blessing to have another little person growing inside me. It is such a blessing to have this new little person. I can't wait to see if they're a boy or a girl. I can't wait to see what their little personality will be like. I can't wait to see how they will grow up. I can't wait to see Daniel with another baby (he is so gentle and so good with babies) and see Eliza as a big sister (she hasn't been around babies much but the few times she has been she has been very gentle). I do think that she will enjoy bossing around someone littler than herself.
I have been feeling quite nauseous from around 6 weeks, mainly at breakfast time and afternoon/dinner times. It's not been very fun. I hope it will pass soon. Fortunately I haven't been sick so far and I hope that it stays the same. Eating has seemed to help but there are certain things that seem to help more than others. Fortunately energy levels seem to have been ok this time around too. The kids have been pretty good at understanding when I need to have a rest and let me stay on the couch for a little energy boost.
I have decided to do the progress shots again of Beanie growing in my tummy. Hopefully I will remember each week :-)

Here are some posts that I wrote before we announced we were pregnant again.
19 September 2015
Surprise! We are pregnant with bub number 3. And what a
surprise it is. We weren’t planning on having a third but we were open to the
idea. But now that it’s a reality there is a lot that will need to happen –
rearranging rooms, spaces, buying new furniture, Eliza moving into a bed, etc.
Lots to do and boy oh boy my mind is racing. But it is a great surprise.
I haven’t felt sick this time so far, if anything I just feel quite
hungry and mostly hungry for savoury food. Being late my mind started thinking
‘maybe I’m pregnant’. I decided to wait a week before taking a test but I was
getting too nervous not knowing, so I took a test on Tuesday and sure enough
there were 2 lines on the test. Surprise! I then had to wait for James to come
home to tell him. When he got home I sat him down and told him that we were
pregnant again and he was also very surprised but excited. Now we move from
surprise to reality as it settles.
My mind is quite overwhelmed with it. How do you raise 3
kids? You have 2 hands, 2 eyes, but 3 kids – how does that work? How will this
bub be with sleeping and eating? I have to go through labour again and the
after-birth pains get worse. Eeeek. It’s just a bit full on. But I am excited.
I can’t wait to meet this little person, to have cuddles, to be filled with more
love again. Hopefully my body will hold up this time. We will have to wait and
see. I am only 5 weeks pregnant. Have an appointment with Paul on Tuesday to
confirm that I’m pregnant and have an appointment with Dr Booker in 5 weeks
time.
Wednesday 23rd September
Yesterday I went to see my doctor to get my blood results.
Everything is looking good. They confirmed that I am pregnant and around 4-7
weeks so I guess we will find the exact estimate when the bub gets measured at
the 20 week ultrasound. The other results came back looking good, with the
exception of my Vitamin D levels. They are a bit on the low side which isn’t a
problem for me but can be a problem for the bub. So I need to take vitamins
each day to boost that which shouldn’t be a problem. So everything is going
well. We are starting to think about how to rearrange the house too but won’t
start until at least the 2nd trimester to make sure that all is ok. I
am starting to get excited about it all now that the shock has started to wear
off. I can’t wait to tell people and to then meet this little one. Still trying
to work out a name for it while in my tummy as we used Bubble for Daniel and
Squeak for Eliza.
