Mr Independent

Daniel is really starting to be Mr Independent. It is pretty tricky to cope with. I know that it is a development thing and he is to explore through trial and error, but I have also learnt that I'm quite a control freak, particularly when it comes to eating. I don't really like a lot of mess, and so to let him go for it is very hard for me. I don't like wasting food, so I struggle with him just being allowed to go for it. Anyway, I'm working hard on trying to let go and let him go for it.
As you can see, he does do pretty well on the whole. Drinking milk has been one of the harder ones. Earlier this week both he and I ended up in milk because it was too full and he bounced the cup up, like he does his water bottle. Problem is that he doesn't have a lid on the milk so it when everywhere. But on the whole, I do know that he is doing pretty well.

Having milk by himself - and having to wear a hat, as you do
Some yoghurt for me
Look, it's on my fingers
