End of Motillium, start of chiro

Today has been the last tablet of Motillium for me. This is a pretty big thing. Motillium helped me be able to feed Daniel without any use of formula. It gave me enough supply to help Daniel put on weight in the early days. It sustained my supply for 15 months. I am a bit nervous about stopping it, but also think it is for the best. James and I both agree that it's probably a good thing to stop taking the medication, even though there aren't any health concerns known. Daniel is old enough that he isn't relying on milk, it is just something that he enjoys and also something that does benefit his body.

I am hoping that Daniel can sustain my supply now on his own. I will have to wait and see though. I am a bit nervous about stopping it, but also feel confident in this decision.

I have also started to see a chiro. Since having Daniel I have progressively had a sore hip on the side which my back hurt during labour. I had put off seeing someone about it, assuming that the pain would go away, however, it got to the point where it hurt not only after exercise, but also after just playing with Daniel, lying flat on the ground, etc. It isn't a very pleasant feeling. So after looking at James and my diaries to find a time that I could go without Daniel we decided that Saturdays would be best. I went for my first appointment and found that I am very out of alignment. I do put more strain on my left side which would explain part of the pain that I'm feeling. So basically it is going to be a lot of appointments (atleast in the meantime) to try and fix the muscles and nervous system so that my body has the correct posture and alignment. I need to focus on my posture - sitting properly, not slouching, head back and shoulders back. It is quite draining needing to focus on it all but it will be worth it in the long run. It is a slow process because of being pregnant again - she can't go hard and fast into the muscles - but it will also hopefully help me during labour 2nd time around and also my recovery, not to mention the long term benefits.
