Just Keep Swimming

After 4.5 years, Daniel finished up his swimming lessons with Robina. This is a bit of a sad moment as Robina has been wonderful for him. She has been so patient but also persistent with pushing Daniel to achieve his best in swimming. She has repeated the skills that he has struggled with, like kicking with straight legs, paddling with straight arms. She hasn't let him muck around while waiting for others to have a go, and if he has, then she has made him sit on the side.

Robina has always taught Daniel from where he is at. She didn't follow a set script but focussed on what skills he needed to focus on. I just really liked her teaching style.

I am so grateful that Daniel had Robina for so long. I'm so glad that she was happy to follow him through. I hope that his afternoon teacher will be as effective with him.
