Anyway, it's crazy to think that a year ago, I was worried about what the future would look like. Worried about life with 2 kids, worried about going into labor again, worried about feeding, worried about how Daniel would go with a baby. Fortunately I have loved this past year. Eliza is such a delight in our lives. She is such a happy bub (unless I'm holding back food or taking too long to give her some food). She adores Daniel - he is really the only person who gets regular kisses blown to him. She loves her Daddy - as soon as he walks in the door she is all smiles for him and waves to him, I just love seeing it. She loves me - cuddles are high up there at the moment and she is not enjoying being separated from me which is both lovely and annoying. I love how she settles in my arms though and feels comfortable resting on my chest. She has done it a bit these past few days and it has reminded me of when she was a newborn. Eliza has got a bit of attitude/spunk which she shows when she is hungry and can see food or if something is taken away from her when she wants it, but I'm sure that will settle and it's justified at times (and she's pretty cute when she's cranky). I love her being in the ergo and the cuddles I get then. I love feeding her and just playing with her hair.
Eliza is such a blessing to us. She is gorgeous (I'm sure I'm biased) and I just love her to bits. I can't wait to see how she is going to continue to grow and change (even though I really want to push the pause button and stop her turning 1). I can't wait to have her learn more about God's love for her and grow in a relationship with Him. But for the moment I am going to love her cuddles, love her attitude, love her giggles and her wrinkled nose, love her to bits.
Happy first birthday eve baby girl!
