Mothers' Day

Sunday was a busy, busy day. We said goodbye to Jenny and Maddie and James drove them to the airport. Daniel and I got to hang out. He gave me a Mothers' Day card which said that my present is a day of adventures with him and Daddy next weekend because today was so busy. I then got to have some sleepy cuddles with my bubba boy.

After his morning nap and when James got home, we headed around to Auntie Sue's place for Mothers' Day lunch and Mum's birthday lunch. After a short play it was lunch time. Yummy chicken and salad.

I then helped Oscar with colouring in while Daniel had some fun crawling around playing with Oscar's ball. Oscar has come a long way with his neatness when colouring in. It's impressive.

Daniel enjoyed some time with Poppy throwing him up in the air. Giving little, cute giggles.

It was then cake time - Happy Birthday to Mumma! Oscar helped carry out the cake and blow out the candles.

 And then Oscar gave Mum her Mothers' Day present - her salt dough hand prints. Mum was very surprised.

We then got some photos of Grandma with her daughters, grand-daughters and great-grandsons. 

He then got some cuddles with Nana before saying bye. Poppy was making him have a giggle too.

We then went back home for Daniel to have another nap and James went to band and then we had church. It was a different Mothers' Day to what I had thought but it was nice to hang out with my boys for a short time and nice to have time with my family and nice to see Jenny and Maddie (even for just a short time). I am looking forward to this weekend and some good quality family time.
