| Such a big boy |
He is doing some new things and trying to do other things. The main thing which he is working on is rolling over from his back to his front. He loves holding things - his grip is going pretty well. He can pick things up from beside him and pull them over. In the car, he loves holding and swinging his butterfly.
He has also started to wave a lot. He is such a fidgety boy, but so cute!
He is also working really hard on rolling over. He is great at getting to his side, but then can't make it all the way over. He just needs to pick up his momentum and he will be there. Each time he practices, he moves himself around on the mat. He often moves himself 45 degrees around. The other day I put him down like this...
And then after hanging out the washing he was like this...
At the moment he can get to his side and then just a simple flick and he flips over to his tummy. Clever boy!

| So close! |
Here is video of him spinning it.
At the moment I'm really missing things that I used to do. I do love being a mum and I am so proud of Daniel and think he is just the cutest, but I am missing a lot of things I used to do. Things like singing on Sunday nights, teachings, hanging out with friends, being able to stay up late (or having the energy to stay up late), etc. This has increased as the girls at Mother's Group have been talking about going back to work. One of the girls goes back this week, most others are going back at 12 months. Just for a couple of days, but still, going back. I have been thinking if I should go back or not, but I think it is just in the moment. I'm sure when Daniel becomes more active it will be more interesting when we go out to different places. It is hard, but James has been very understanding and good at listening and helping me think through things which I am very blessed by.
On a different note, I think that my bubba has been knocked around by his injections. He has been asleep for 2 hours now and counting... Hopefully he will be ok :-)
