This morning James and I headed to the SAN to have our 19 week ultrasound to see Beanie and get all the measurements. The lady who did the ultrasound was lovely and very patient because Beanie was being quite cheeky.
At the start Beanie was lying on its tummy which I haven't seen before. This gave a great shot of its spine, but not much else. Cheeky bubba. She said that the spine looks beautiful and all the bones look there which is great.
She then managed to poke and prod Beanie with the ultrasound machine to be able to get some different images and check the different measurements. One shot that she got was of Beanie's little foot. I think it is just the cutest thing!
Again, Beanie was being quite difficult to get the different shots. It was quite wriggly but also snuggled up into the placenta. She said that the placenta is at the back so I would be feeling a lot of kicks and movement, which I am. This shot shows Beanie being very comfortable inside me.
She was eventually able to get a shot of the heart and it was so cool to see how clear it was. It looks perfect with the 4 chambers and the blood is pumping through it well which again, is great!
After trying for a bit longer and she had me empty my bladder to see if that would help Beanie move around so she could get some profile shots, see the head clearly and be able to find the right hand. It did help, as well as her continuing to poke Beanie with the machine.
Beanie doesn't look very happy about being poked and woken up!
But we did manage to get the profile shots that are needed and they look very cute!
So all the measurements say that instead of being 19 weeks, I am actually 20 weeks so I am now due on the 13th May. This is pretty crazy because I'm now past halfway which is quite daunting! But it's very exciting. Watching the ultrasound today I just kept thinking 'there's a baby in my tummy!'
Just tonight while typing this blog James placed his head on my tummy and he felt Beanie kick him, faint but he still felt it. So cool that he has now felt our bubba kick and move. I am looking forward to holding this little one in 20 weeks time, but am hoping that it is a bit more cooperative on the outside than it was on the inside. Hehe.

Wiggley Woo
Today during nap time I was resting on the couch while the kids were sleeping. During this peaceful time I am pretty sure that I felt Beanie moving around. I had a few bumps in my stomach and twitches. They were only faint but I'm pretty sure they were there.
It is so surreal feeling Beanie move. So cool to know that a life is growing inside of me. So nice to know that it is moving and growing. I can't wait to see Beanie in our 19 week scan after Christmas. I hope that it is growing well and healthy.

The kids are growing way too quickly!
With being pregnant again, I have been pretty tired at night times so haven't had much motivation to update the blog. I have meant to and there has been lots and lots happening.
We have enjoyed heading to library most Wednesdays for Storytime. The kids enjoy singing the songs (or more listening to the songs and occasionally joined in) and then doing the craft. Some weeks they are very into the craft, other weeks it takes a bit of encouragement to do it. Here the kids have enjoyed making different crafts each week. One that was fun was making pirate hats. It's pretty crazy trying to complete 2 crafts each time but we get there in the end.
As you can see from this video Eliza does enjoy the singing time and her favourite song to do at the moment is 'Dingle Dangle Scarecrow'.
During the Swans last few games they had a sale on products. We were quite excited to get some Swans pjs for the kids. They loved wearing them and looked very cute too.
We went away with some friends to the Hunter Valley. As Eliza is still having a milk feed we decided that I would take her with us. She did really well while away and it was nice to spend some time with our little girl. Such a great idea at the wineries to have a box of games/equipment outside. It helped occupy Eliza while the others tasted the different wines.
It was a great time away and fun with friends.
Eliza's favourite book is 'Food'. Very coincidentally as one of her favourite things is 'food'. When we read it, we pretend to eat the different food in the book. Eliza is nice enough to share some of it with us.
Mothers' Group has decided to do some outings this year and one of these included going to the Reptile Park. A few of the mums and kids hadn't been there before so we decided that it could be a fun adventure and it was a great day! It was a bit hard with a big group and kids wanting to look at different animals but it was worth it and everyone said they enjoyed it. Eliza especially loved the cheeky kangaroos who kept trying to get everyone's lunch. No fear of them at all, even when they were the same size as her, if not bigger.
Daniel remembered that we had the swing at home and asked that we set it up. They kids had a great time playing on the swing.
We then of course go enjoy watching the postman come to our place. The kids love sitting and watching him ride down the road and seeing if he has some mail for us. Our postie was awesome! If he didn't have mail he would still stop and say hello. Sometimes he let Daniel beep the horn, sometimes he turned off his bike and asked Daniel to turn it on. He was just so friendly. Sadly, he seems to be doing a different run now which is a bit sad as the other posties don't seem quite as friendly.
We had a picnic lunch with some Kedron people and I decided to take my croquet set for the kids to play with. They had a lot of fun, even though the didn't really grasp how to play it properly. As long as they have fun!
Eliza enjoys pretending to be a crocodile. She loved doing the 'snnnnnap'.
I just love my kiddies!
And I love that they love books!
I have been doing an exercise program at home when the kids go to bed. Daniel likes to exercise with me which is pretty cute. It's probably a procrastination tactic but still. It's cute.
Eliza and Daniel enjoy doing 'Gimme 5' together, especially at meal times.
Eliza also loves to give her toys a kiss and a cuddle (or as she calls it, cuggle)
Eliza has also started to learn how to do slides by herself and she loves them!
Daniel has become confused with what sultanas are. Back when we were in New Zealand, he told us that he had some doughnuts at the creche when we went to church on Good Friday morning. We were quite confused and just figured that he was making it up, or they were pretend, but he was quite adamant that he did have them. Then one day at home, like 6 months after, Daniel saw some sultanas in the cupboard and asked me if he could have some doughnuts. I said we didn't have any and he told me that we did and pointed them out to me. He pointed to the sultanas. That's a bit more believable that they gave the kids some sultanas at creche.
We had our new fence built out the front which is beautiful! It also means that I can easily close the gates (as the carport is now straightened) so the kids can play on the pavers safely. Daniel has also enjoyed using his cricket set outside too.
For James' Fathers' Day the kids (or I) gave James a coffee training course voucher, a keep cup and a play coffee machine for the kids to use. James and Daniel enjoyed working out how to use the coffee machine.
And then they had a lot of fun making a coffee together.
James also had to teach Eliza how to make a coffee on their machine too. I think I've created some monsters!
Eliza just loves playing with Oscar! And he loves playing with her. Oscar sure does get away with a lot more than other people do with Eliza.
One day while Eliza was having her nap, Daniel and I went outside to have a bit of a play with bi-carb soda, vinegar and different colours. He had a great time watching the bubbles appear as he squirted water in and then making new colours by mixing them.
Eliza is just so cheeky. She is getting pretty good at saying 'cheese' when a camera points her way.
I just love that Eliza enjoys trying on our shoes and walking around in them. She is a determined little girl!
Eliza likes to ride on the bike and Daniel has taught her that he can also sit in the trailer and she's strong enough to pull him.
Eliza and Daniel both love playing with playdough. They like building towers with the playdough boxes and knocking them down. They also like making, rolling and squishing the playdough.
Eliza and Daniel had their first experience of an iceblock. I had some strawberries that were near the end of their life so I decided to cut them up, put them into the iceblock containers and fill them up with water. They worked really well and the kids seemed to enjoy having them. Nice and healthy for them too!
We had a bit of fun playing with the Photo Booth on my computer one afternoon. I just love playing with my kiddies. Here are 3 of my favourite photos from that play.
